I am beyond words with this place! I can't count in my fingers how many times I've been here, and probably rotated in half of their menu! I just love everything in Ocha Thai, and it hits my Thai food cravings every time. Ofcourse, their Mango Sticky rice desserts are a must, but don't sleep on the chiffon cake combos they have. I recently tried their Thai Tea with salt cream and it was the best Thai Tea I've had! I will always always come back to this place, if not once a week. Lol
Went here last week! We tried so many things and nothing was a miss! Everything was absolutely delicious! Portions were absolutely perfect and the price point was spot on! The food was high quality and fresh! I really loved all of the decorations and the general ambience. Definitely a great spot for both casual and fine dining. I highly recommend this place! The staff was great as well! They have a few items on the menu that have different versions and always made sure we are ordering exactly what we wanted!
This is a marvelous Thai Kitchen. Today, 3/11/24, was the first time I gave them a try. The atmosphere is charming and clean. The service is excellent. I was greeted immediately, and I never waited more than a few minutes for anything. I ordered off the lunch menu a Thai iced tea, Pad Thai chicken(hot) with a spring roll. The Thai tea was delicious. The Spring Roll was excellent. It came in a tiny terracotta pot that had a red sauce in the bottom that reminded me of the red sauce that comes with sweet and sour chicken. It was not typical, but still very good. The Pad Thai was also slightly different from the more “orangish-brown” looking Pad Thai I am used to, but it was still excellent. It had an inherent sweet taste, but it partnered well with the spice level of Hot. The menu has a lot of options. Everything looks great, so I look forward to returning and trying other dishes. If you visit or live in the area, this is a must-try.
I have been to the restaurant countless of times and it has never disappointed me. The food is so good. The service is amazing. Seasoned well. Right amount of flavor where it’s not too overbearing. Never had to wait for a long period for my order. Highly recommend trying the crispy chicken larb and creme brulee matcha latte.
My husband and I order takeout from Ocha Thai on an almost weekly basis, it’s that good! We’ve tried so many things on the menu and everything is always fresh and full of flavor. You really can’t go wrong. The spicy Thai fried rice is one of our favorites!
I come here all the time with friends and family and each visit is better than the last. They have a wide array of fun drinks and deserts which get swapped out for new items seasonally, and they also have the classic Thai dishes that are beyond amazing. Their Pad See Ew is to die for, and their Thai Tea is the best in NOVA. Prices are very good for the high quality dishes they produce. Everything is around 12, and their lunch specials are a STEAL. The interior is also very charming, making it a great place for a date night or a lunch date with friends. Highly recommend coming here!
Had a lovely time here with three of my kiddos. They LOVED the pineapple fried rice and the curry. Their Thai coffee is on the spot and my crispy chicken with sweet and sour came with more chicken than I could ever eat - and it was so thin and delicate - just yummy. We loved how many vegetarian options there were - a sizeable part of the menu was vegetarian friendly. Also, for the unassuming outside the inside is quite cozy - a lovely space for a quiet get together or simple hot date.
Had a fantastic meal here tonight! We ordered the drunken noodles, larb gai tod, the crispy chicken with winter melon, and the fried banana ice cream for dessert. Every single dish was absolutely delicious. The flavors were vibrant and authentic, and the portions were generous. The service was also excellent – friendly, attentive, and efficient.
